De Toren Takes Its Stand in One of SA’s Most Exciting Wine Auctions | Strauss & Co Fine Wine Auction
South Africa’s foremost auction house, Strauss & Co, has entered into a joint venture with Wine Cellar & top Sommelier Higgo Jacobs, to launch an inaugural Fine Wine Auction for the first time ever. This endeavour provides a transparent auction platform & aims to introduce prospective buyers to some of SA’s finest wines.
It is with great excitement that we announce our participation in this prestigious event, of which the first auction took place on the 8th of June in Johannesburg. Among the most impressive wine lots on offer on the day, was 6 bottles of our renowned De Toren Fusion V 2006, 4 bottles of the ultra-luxurious Book XVII 2011, and 2 very impressive De Toren Fusion V 2009 3L’s. With our De Toren lots raising an impressive monetary value, we are truly honoured to have been included amid the 180 lots. Each auction lot carefully curated by Sommelier Higgo Jacobs, for what is arguably one of SA’s most exciting wine auction offerings to date!
