Gina – Leading with Vineyard Excellence
Leading our viticultural efforts is Gina, a passionate and dedicated young viticulturist who we admire for her technical, analytical and meticulous approach. Alongside her team of talented ladies, Gina ensures that our vineyards thrive, producing grapes of unparalleled quality. Recently recognized in the Winelands 30 under 30, Gina exemplifies the future of the wine industry with her innovative approach and profound knowledge. We also cannot fail to mention that much of our viticultural team has been employed for more than ten years. This speaks volumes to the continuity and excellence of the De Toren Brand and our evolution as a team.
The Heart of Our Operations
The vineyard team at De Toren is led by Johanna Paulse, Fransiena Radloff, and Wilma Riet. This respected trio is responsible for the execution of all viticulture practices on a single shoot level, all the way from pruning to harvesting, as well as training contractors and managing the internal team. Paulse, Radloff, and Riet ensure that De Toren’s superlative standards are always adhered to.
In the cellar, quality controllers Michelle, Rochelle and Christine are highly valued for their meticulous attention to detail in sorting, particularly during the pressures of the harvest season. Outside of harvest season, this pair handles bottling, labelling, individual packaging of wines, and the custom packaging of De Toren gift boxes and cases, all done by hand.
Annie and Marica – Hospitality Precision
Ensuring that our Manor House is a welcoming haven for our guests Annie and Marica. Their attention to detail creates an unforgettable experience for visitors, setting the stage for memorable tastings and events.
Tanya – Guiding Your Tasting Experience
Tanya, our knowledgeable guide through the world of De Toren wines and equipped with a passion for wine and a pursuit of excellence. Tanya is pursuing her WSET Level 3 certification to deepen her expertise.
