The Nederlandse Gilde van Sommeliers had a tasting of Bordeaux Blends on 11 January 2016 during the Wine Professional wine show in Amsterdam. De Toren Z was in the line-up and 20 wines were tasted in 5 Flights and from 11 countries.

As can be seen, the big guns with mostly older vintages were there and ur De Toren Z delivered by far the best bang for the buck. Most wines were priced around Euro ; 35,00 but the best wines were priced well over Euro 100,00. It’s better that you don’t see the bottom half of the list because some big names feature there too.
At 22,50 Euro per bottle, De Toren Z was an absolute bargain.
