The Local Grill is passionate about steak. Their menu offers distinction not only in cut, and portion size, but also in the aging time and process; the difference between beef that is grass or grain fed. Preparation includes steaks being seared on Himalayan Salt blocks and staff that are very knowledgeable about the menu. You can even request a kitchen tour where the staff will show you the various cuts of meat and cooking processes used.

The Wolftrap Steakhouse Championships 2016 saw 115 steakhouses competing to win the crown and become South Africa’s Steakhouse Champion for 2016. The public voted, via Facebook and SMS, and their favourite Twenty Steakhouses went to the judges’ round – and ultimately it was The Local Grill in Parktown North that claimed top honours for the third time in four years.
