This month we were honoured to receive superb news from the esteemed and highly reputable USA publisher, Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The craftsmanship invested in each and every step of our winemaking process has truly been rewarded by this most recent nomination.
The editors of Wine Enthusiast Magazine conceived an annual awards program in honour of those individuals and companies that have contributed to the success of the wine industry. Each year, tribute is given to those that have accomplished outstanding achievements in the world of wine.
This year, De Toren Private Cellar has been nominated for Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s 2017 Wine Star Awards in the category ‘New World Winery of the Year’. Considering all the wine producers around the globe, we are truly thrilled to be one of a mere five nominees in this category and to top that, De Toren is the only South African wine producer nominated for this award.
We are honoured to be considered for this prestigious award amongst some of the world’s top influencers and wine producers. This marks De Toren’s second nomination in seven years in this category.
